The CLCDC is actively supporting and promoting the completion of the Ernst Trail section known as “The Nature Walk at Conneaut Lake”.
This hiking / biking trail will connect Conneaut Lake to the existing Meadville Ernst trail system of over 13 miles of off-road nature trails. The Conneaut Cellars Winery trailhead will be the Conneaut Lake entry / exit point with plans to continue through the Borough and eventually connect with the existing Spillway Trail in Linesville.
In addition to creating a valuable community asset for safe outdoor recreation and wildlife viewing, the expected influx of visitors will boost the local economy.
